Frequently Asked Questions
1. How do I participate in the Today's Top Ten program?
It is very easy and free to participate. We have an online submission website that allows retailers to submit sale item(s) directly to us over the internet. In order to log on, we will set up an account for you. Once the account is established, submitting offers is just a mouse click away. For more details and to set up an account please contact us at topten@adspacenetworks.com.
2. Why is the Today's Top Ten program free?
The Today's Top Ten program is offered to all retailers in the mall, free of charge, because it adds value to our media. We do this because in our research, shoppers told us they'd look at our screens if we show them where they can save money. The Today's Top Ten program captivates shopper's interest; in turn creating a viewing audience that is responsive to our advertisers.
3. How are the Top Ten offers chosen?
We choose what we think represents the best prices on the latest merchandise with the broadest appeal to the shoppers in the mall.
4. If I submit an offer, will I be chosen for Today's Top Ten?
Since this free advertising opportunity is made available to all retailers in the mall, and with only ten spots to fill each week, there is no guarantee that your submitted offer will be chosen. However, in order to keep the content on our Smart Screens as fresh and appealing to the shoppers in the malls as possible, we try to offer a fair rotation of retailers.
5. Do I have to choose a specific item that is on sale?
Yes, in order to be considered for the Today's Top Ten program your submission must have a savings associated with it. Since shoppers have told us they want to know where they can save money, this is a price driven program. During the program loop, we display the total savings associated with our Today's Top Ten.
6. Can I submit a group of items?
Yes, you may submit a group of items for consideration. For example, if your store is having a Sweater Sale, your Today's Top Ten submission could feature a group of sweaters with a range of prices. We would need both the sale pricing information, as well as the savings.
7. Can I advertise a store wide sale?
Yes, you can advertise a store wide sale as long as you choose one item which best represents the sale. A Spring Clearance, for example, could feature an item that is on sale that represents your spring line.
8. Why do I need to include pricing information?
Because shoppers have told us they want to know where they can save money, this is a price driven program. During the program loop, we display the total savings associated with our Today's Top Ten.
9. Can my Marketing Department put together the ten second ad for submission?
Adspace Digital Mall Network builds the ten second ad based on a template which includes fields for a product image, a logo, a brief description of the sale item(s), a feature price, a savings, and a location for the store in the mall. If you are interested in greater creative control we also offer additional advertising opportunities through our sales department. If you are interested in learning more about the additional advertising opportunities available on our Smart Screens please contact 646.367.5300.
10. Why do I have to limit the item description to 30 characters?
The more characters that are used, the smaller the scale of the text, 30 characters is the maximum amount of characters that can be used for optimum visibility.
